Branding: Regardless of whether you apply to a big firm or start your own show, think about building your personal profile.
2. Is an MBA the only way to get into management consulting?
No, there is always more than one way to travel from New York to London: cruise ship, 747, private jet. Each approach has its benefits. Doing an MBA is a tried and tested way to get the competence and branding you need to land an interview with a consulting firm.
